Looking back on Intersec 2013: AxxonSoft results

AxxonSoft took part in Intersec 2013, the largest security exhibition in the Middle East, held in Dubai (UAE) from 15 to 17 January 2013.

Over those three days, the AxxonSoft stand received over 700 visitors, including officials from the government of the United Arab Emirates and other Persian Gulf countries.

Enormous interest focused around Axxon VMS, the company’s new distributed platform for smart video surveillance systems. The software’s functionality and features amazed guests with such innovations as the interactive 3D map and TimeCompressor technology for viewing security footage at a glance without fast-forwarding.

AxxonSoft’s technology partners – Everfocus, Gallagher, and Probe – demonstrated how their hardware integrates into the next-generation Axxon VMS open-platform video management software. One of the company’s certification partners, Adaptive Technologies, demonstrated Axxon VMS at its own stand as well.

A number of important meetings at the expo allowed discussing the outlook for growth of AxxonSoft products and AxxonSoft-based installations with representatives of a number of companies from the Middle East and North Africa. Particularly active discussion was held on partnership with companies from Morocco, Egypt, and Pakistan.

This year’s security expo was the largest in Intersec’s 15-year history. Stands were hosted by 990 presenters, drawing 21,615 guests from 118 countries.
